Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP/GCIP), and modern cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Support cloud-based applications and services ensuring availability and performance.
• Monitor cloud resources and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Work with development teams to deploy applications to cloud environments.
• Maintain documentation related to cloud architecture and deployment processes.
• Follow cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Basic experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCIP/GCP) services like Compute Engine and Cloud Storage.
• Understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and basic scripting (Bash/Python).
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS or Google Cloud associate-level certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and agile environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
